ABOUT DAVID SOLOMON WRITERS
We are a body of individual committed to learning, sharing and writing. We believe the power of words will shape and inspire the way to live, work and play. As writers we seek to be responsible in our actions, accountable in our behavior and intentional in our delivery. We believe two is better than one and as a group we seek to supply and support each other with the tools and resources for us to delivery quality content.
OUR FOUNDERS
Jacqui Anita Henry always wanted to setup a writer's group. This came about from for her experiences of seeing the Harlem Renaissance Group and the productions that they created. She felt there were many people who enjoyed writing but do not have the drive to realize those passions. She recognize that when more than one individual come together they are able to achieve more and able to put together productions that speak to life After a conversation with O. Stephen Peart, founder of Released Expressions the idea started coming together for her. The result of that was the David Solomon Writer's Group. They both engaged shaping what is now the David Solomon Writer's Group.
WHO IS DAVID SOLOMON?
"I wanted a name that would recognize two of the Bible’s best known poets. But also be a stand alone name like that of an individual and David Solomon just had that ring to it". - Jacqui Henry, Founder of David Solomon.
David means beloved; Solomon means man of peace
